I read an article that claimed that dumb people are too dumb to realize that they’re dumb. That’s a funny thing to say, but a very valid point. How can one know the’re dumb if they don’t identify them selves as such?

I think it it works out for itself. For example, let’s say that people would be aware of their stupidity. How easy would it be to cope with your limits under pressure of being inferior. Not very easy I bet.

Here are some questions that came to my mind:

Where goes the line for stupidity?
Does the current society pressure people to think that intellect is important?
Are athletic people less intelligent, and visa versa?
Are there different forms of intellect?
Can different talents and skills be considered as a form of intellect?

And last but surely not least:

Do you have to be intelligent to be a good person? 

-The answer for that is NO, absolutely not.

I think peace of mind is one of the most important things a person can have.

Personally, I feel relaxed when I have a moment to myself and time to think of all the small things in life. This often helps when I’m exhausted or just stressed, which  both are quite common reasons for becoming socially distant and even unhappy.

When you don’t feel distracted by worries you easily start to experience more happiness and a certain kind of “light” mood. 

I don’t really like April fools day but me and my GF decided to make the most of it. I told my friends that we got engaged. The minority of friends who actually believed me sure were relieved when they heard that it was just a joke, lol.

This made me think. What makes some people want to get tied down so early in life? I mean, almost 100% of the couples, also depending on culture, who start seeing each other at the age of 16-18 split up after a year or two, so what’s the point? I think it’s insane, but I do respect other peoples beliefs under certain circumstances. My point is that it is wise to live your youth and experience various things before you may or may not be tied down.
